Welcome to the Website of the Munich Conference!
Should we leave important social questions to politicians? How can we defend ourselves against corruption, abuse of power and illegitimate state violence? How can citizens work for more democracy, social justice and sustainable development?
These and many more questions were discussed by experts, civil rights activists and politicians from the three twinned cities Munich, Harare and Kiev at the Munich Conference on the 26th and 27th February, 2010 at Munich City Hall.

On the first day, all interested citizens of Munich were able to inform themselves about the situation and work of civil society organizations in the three cities, at presentations and podium discussions. On the second day the invited participants shared their experiences with each other.
